| Instructor Bio: | Hey there, I'm Wendy! I've been playing with beads for as long as I can remember. Growing up in southern California, my first creations came from collecting sequins fallen from the beautiful Mexican hand painted velvet dresses worn by the waitresses at our family's favorite spot. I'd collect them and string them on sewing thread to gift back to the ladies upon our return. I have a love for petit point and bargello needlework and knitting, but have had my hands on just about any craft imaginable. Most of my career was spent evaluating color and manufacturing anything that's ever been printed, so an eye for color comes naturally to me...but I can teach you some tricks, too! Learning the basics in person will helps you gain confidence and inspire your curiosity to take over. If you can pick up a bead with a needle, you're beadweaving and have the ability to turn that simple action into a beautiful creation. See you in class. |
